I don't like to generalise on principle. However, I feel it is important to point out the fact that people join RLC for a variety of reasons. Whether it is to supplement a part of their offline lives that they feel is missing, or as a form of escapism. Or somewhere in between. I have joined for very specific reasons. I come from a relatively small town where the opportunity to meet new people is limited. I am an honest person and I am not a cheat. There is a school of thought on here that RLC is just a game and it is not real. I do not subscribe to that theory. The love I have discovered on here, as well has the hurt have been real to me. And it doesn't matter to a broken heart or one full of love where the source of that particular emotion comes from. I am very open minded and don't judge anyone for their particular lifestyle choices.
