I guess at heart I am a Classic Rocker but my music collection is a very mixed bag.
I love listening to Zeppelin and Floyd, Beatles over the Stones, the weirdness of prog rock like Yes and easy listening like the Eagles and Elton John.
I would also quite happily sit back with a good book with some classical, jazz or blues drifting out in the background.
Just don't ask me to listen to Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus!
Movies:
Like my music, my movie taste is very varied. I'm prepared to give most things a go at least once (well, maybe not an Adam Sandler 'comedy') from The Good, The Bad & The Ugly to Schlindlers List.
I will always laugh over and over to Monty Python, enjoy the classics like Casablanca and It's a wonderful life, classic Star Trek still beats the Next Gen (just) and a bit of Sci Fi like Blade Runner or Star Wars (no Mr Lucas, not your dodgy prequels). Sit me in front of a good thriller and I will always be happy.
Books:
Unlike the other categories, my reading habits are a little less all over the place.
I tend to mainly like thrillers and detective stories though I do enjoy the occasional Stephen King. For a fantasy thrill I have jumped onto the Game of Thrones band wagon (yes, the Tv series too) oh, and if they have actually had a life/career I have been known to enjoy a good autobiography.
