Movies:
Comedies - romantic comedies, tragic comedies, slapstick comedies - as long as I can laugh somewhere along the line.
Sci-fi is also on my list, but it has to be well produced. I hate cheap, plastic CGI that a blind person can see is fake.
I have been called a Star Wars junky and, yes, I love them. I like the original trilogy better than the last 3 releases and have watched them a gazillion times. I don't collect the action figures.
Last but not least, I enjoy fantasy movies - Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings and the like.
Books:
My favourite novelists are Wilbur Smith, Dean R Coons and Charles Dickinson. Their books all rock.
I enjoy the odd autobiography and then I'm hooked on how-to and how-it-works type of books. Don't think there is a For Dummies book I don't have. Yes I have Ballroom Dancing for Dummies.
