Music:
Music I feel like my existence is set to music... in fact, music is "the soundtrack of my life". I know that without music, my life just wouldn't be, my life. With everything that I do, with everything that I think, and with everything that I feel, there is always something musical, out there, that matches whatever is inside me. Lyrics may pop into my head. I may break out into song.I will never stop looking for that next great song, new or new to me. I am constantly asking people for music suggestions. Give me whatever, if I don't love it, at the very least, I'll give it a chance. At some point, I'll research just exactly who it is that I am listening to. I've been known to spend a whole day researching who I am listening to. Music is mos def-initely one of my true obessions.
Movies:
Movies... AKA little mini vacations. I take a little part of most of the movies I watch, I amaze even myself sometimes, with my constant movie references. Maybe I should write movie reviews for a living. Nah. Frankly I could care less what reviews have to say about the movies I want to watch. There isn't much out that I don't like, in terms of genres: foreign, comedy, drama, documentaries... The movies I truly enjoy are the ones that will make me think, that stay with me, and make me feel like I am obligated to ponder them for months to come. You know I love a movie when I quote from it constantly. There are just too many to mention.
Books:
When I was a child my passion was reading.The library was my sanctuary. I’d take 10 books home from the library a night and read every single one and wonder what to read next. I still read today, but not nearly as much as I used to. And again, I read just about everything and anything. Once I get into something, I won’t stop unless I have to and I likely won't hear you if you are talking to me.
