What can I say about myself? . . . Some have told me I have too much education ... I like to converse on a wide range of subjects, many of which I know something about ... smile. I’ve been blessed in my (relatively) short life to have been able to travel to all 7 continents and I like photography so maybe more travel photos will be posted. I have 2 black cats in the household Petronius (named after the feline hero of a great short novel “A Door into Summer”) and Njals (named after the hero of the Icelandic Njal Saga) What else can I say about me? ... ask me to chat and I'll let you decide.
Take a look at the picure of the Tibetean mask in my main album, it was once my profile pic. About the mask . . . it is used in Tibetean Buddhist ceremonies. Is it ugly or beautiful? Good or bad? Maybe it’s ugly, but ugly is good. Its supposed to scare away demons & death, so it has to be scarier than demons or death. Masks are important. We need masks either to protect us or to come out from behind. Both are important in our lives . . . safety and challenge. Black and White . Ying and Yang.
