Over three years here, and still working on making new friends. I'm a woman (despite rumors to the contrary LOL), 38, divorced with two kids in school and a fair amount of free time depending on my work schedule. This place is a lot more interesting to me than Second Life or Worlds of Warcraft.
That said, this isn't anywhere close to my "real world," and I don't want it to be. This is a fantasy world for me. I want to share the fantasy with as many people as I can, but I have other places to meet in person, and this will never be one of them. If you want a "relationship" that is is any more "real" than what we can have here, don't bother with me, as you won't get what you want.
I'm thoroughly bisexual (really), and don't quite understand why everbody else isn't. Sexism makes as little sense to me as racism, both being utter nonsense based on scientific facts and most of the moral guidance of most cultures.
In case you hadn't noticed, I went to college, and can think and talk about a wide range of subjects. I can also be pretty "shallow" when it comes to sex, explaining my one and only marriage. :-) What can I say? I love sex with women and men, as long as it's not about pain or control. There's enough drama available in RL to suit me. I don't want it here.
FWIW, I fully intend to keep "this life" well separated from the real world that I live in. I want to be challenged when I'm living in my avatar, but I don't want any of that to "spill over" into my real life, so I'm not going to leave many "connections." Embrace the "fantasy me." and don't worry about the "real me." I'm doing all right.

Who I'd like to meet:
People, lots of people. All ages, shapes, sizes, and dreams welcome. We're all "beautiful" here, and that works very well for me. I generally tend to see the beauty in people first, so this is a great place for me.
As noted above, I'm into true friendship, not play-acting or other sorts of drama. I get enough of the latter in RL, and not nearly enough of the former. I've no interest in BDSM as a participant, though I have many Doms and Subs as friends. Whatever turns you on. I want to get to know people who want to get to know me.

Music:
All sorts, but tend to listen to Alternative most often. I've liked "new music" since I really became aware of popular music in the late '70s. I was a big fan of the original "MTV bands," and I miss the old format for showing videos back to back.
My parents both love music of all sorts, and they exposed me to everything from Bach, to Beethoven,to the Beatles (and most of the other bands of the '60s). I pretty much love everything that "sounds good" to me, which is almost every sort of music.
If I have a current favorite band, it would have to be the Foo Fighters. I also love everything from Elvis Costello and The Beatles. Glenn Miller and Frank Sinatra also work for me.
Movies:
With two kids, who has time for anything but what they want to watch? I suppose that I could do well in tests of Disney movies. :-)
Books:
Romance, mystery, fantasy, science fiction. I work in a bookstore. I read a lot, and I probably won't work too well with anybody who doesdn't read at least once in a while. This is the major subject of my blog. If you like reading romances, check out my blog.
