About me:
I'm a 29 year old Caucasian male living in Austin, Texas who works as a computer programmer for web 2.0 interactive platforms.
In my spare time I play the guitar, go out to bars and concerts, work out (whether that be at the gym or just going outside to bike, swim, etc...), and travel when I can.
I don't live to work but am committed to improving myself everyday. I'm not an emotional person but passionate about what matters most in life. I'm reasonable with my lifestyle but not above getting wild from time to time.
Who I'd like to meet:
Well first the obvious. I'd like to meet a person around:
- my age (25-34)
- open-minded but not overly lewd (leave things to the imagination)
- of the opposite sex
- cares about their health and career
- friendly
Besides that, I think it's better to see what happens on a case by case basis. If I started making a laundry list of preferences I wanted from a partner, I'd start feeling like a misogynistic and materialistic bastard...not to mention it takes out all the fun out of it. Also, from personal experience, there is something to be said for the "opposites attract" cliche.

Music:
Absolutely love music in almost all its forms. There are a few exceptions (certain rap and country...oh and boybands). However, I enjoy music with energy, feeling and talent behind it. So I'm more inclined to listen to metal, rock, and classical.

Movies:
Unlike Books, I don't look for anything special with movies. I go to a movie to escape. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to suffer through a pretentious foreign film, any type of mindless teen flick, or some contrived and bastardized version of a person's life (fuck you "The Passion").
That being said, I'll watch them anyway since I have no desire to think when watching movies...or tv for that matter.
Books:
I've read a variety of both fiction and non-fictional topics ranging from History to Popular Media to Erotica. Although I consider my taste in literature to be eclectic, I will not touch books affiliated with self-help (if you need a book to do this then you can't think for yourself) or politics.
